Are modern Final Fantasy games bad? in c/games

For the record, I was also immensely disappointed in XV. However I loved XVI. The ability cool downs in particular felt very ATB-like to me and I loved the customization. The story is very good and one of my favorites from storytelling perspective (in other words, HOW the story is told).

I also really liked the combat and exploration of XII. And the Zodiac version makes it even better.

I thought XIII had some of the best moments in the series.

XIII-2 perfected the gameplay from XIII and made storytelling and exploration "fun"

XIII: LR is very experimental and has some of my favorite action-based combat in the series.

World of Final Fantasy is a lot of fun if you want turn based monster capturing.

Stranger of Paradise is a blast. My only issue with it is that you can't really overpower by leveling up. I hit a hard wall with a boss and the only way through is "get good".

I didn't get much into Type-O but I keep meaning to.

Theatrhythm exists. I love it, but it's also it's own thing entirely.

They look more animated. Like they move more both in their actual movements but also they seem more squishy. It probably doesn't help that their models are made older in this one. It's a bit off-putting, but only a bit.

I never got around to playing that one. I'll have to put it on my list to get around to. But after watching a video, it's definitely more action than the games I was listing. The PS1 is really an endless supply of quality games. Castlevania Symphony of the Night would another great action RPG which is even more on the action side compared to Alundra.

The Rams beat the Jets to keep the NFL Title Belt and first ranking. The Cardinals will have a chance to take the title belt in week 16. With only two games left, the belt will end up with one of four teams, The Rams, Cardinals, Seahawks, or the 49ers. If the Rams win out, the belt (and first) will go to the playoffs. If the Rams lose a game, it will almost certainly be left with whatever team ends up with it in week 18 for the offseason.

The Buffalo Bills called timeout late in the game against the Los Angeles Rams on the goal line. It may have cost them the game and it certainly cost them a better chance at winning the game.

The Raiders are still last after their loss to the Chiefs. The Raiders will have a chance to move out from last in week 14 when they play the Bucs.

This ranking assumes that there are never any fluke games and all teams are appropriately ranked. If you beat a team that is higher ranked than you, you move ahead of them and they move down one spot. However, other teams can jump in front of teams that are higher ranked than you, moving you further down the rankings.
