On Wednesday, Burnie Burns — one of Rooster Teeth’s co-founders — announced that his independent company, Box Canyon Productions, has acquired the Rooster Teeth brand and its remaining assets including the website and social channels.

Wow this was surprising and unexpected news! I’m thrilled, but curious to see how they’re gunna try and revive the brand

It seems like most of the sought-after properties are sold off between RWBY and the podcasts. Although the OG RvB is still part of the brand.
