Yeah, I love the thing. Replacing the battery is going to be either extremely risky/time consuming to DIY or expensive if I send it somewhere.

I might just scrap it.

Jesus H Christ on a cracker. I got halfway through this and it starts talking about removing the fucking trackpad and microphone and I’m like, oh, this must be a full breakdown… nope! You have to literally take the whole thing apart to free the battery. Fucking Apple. They make great shit, but they just want you to buy a new one.

Every 6 months. But I slacked this year and didn't change them out before summer. So I'm going to start fresh now, and then change at the beginning of summer, and then again next year around Thanksgiving.

She bought the tickets without knowing about the strike. We accepted the gift without knowing about the strike.

She's a Republican and still wants to go and cross the picket line. She doesn't care.

My wife understands my hesitancy, but says that it's too late, and so we have to go regardless.

The kids are really looking forward to it.

I just feel so horrible. But I have to go with them.

What can I do to make amends?
