!nostupidquestions is a community dedicated to being helpful and answering each others' questions on various topics.

The rules for posting and commenting, besides the rules defined here for lemmy.world, are as follows:

Rules (interactive)

Rule 1- All posts must be legitimate questions. All post titles must include a question.

All posts must be legitimate questions, and all post titles must include a question. Questions that are joke or trolling questions, memes, song lyrics as title, etc. are not allowed here. See Rule 6 for all exceptions.

Rule 2- Your question subject cannot be illegal or NSFW material.

Your question subject cannot be illegal or NSFW material. You will be warned first, banned second.

Rule 3- Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here.

Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here. Breaking this rule will not get you or your post removed, but it will put you at risk, and possibly in danger.

Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.

That's it.

Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.

Questions which, instead of being of an innocuous nature, are specifically intended (based on reports and in the opinion of our crack moderation team) to bait users into ideological wars on charged political topics will be removed and the authors warned - or banned - depending on severity.

Rule 6- Regarding META posts and joke questions.

Provided it is about the community itself, you may post non-question posts using the [META] tag on your post title.

On fridays, you are allowed to post meme and troll questions, on the condition that it's in text format only, and conforms with our other rules. These posts MUST include the [NSQ Friday] tag in their title.

If you post a serious question on friday and are looking only for legitimate answers, then please include the [Serious] tag on your post. Irrelevant replies will then be removed by moderators.

Rule 7- You can't intentionally annoy, mock, or harass other members.

If you intentionally annoy, mock, harass, or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.

Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.

Rule 8- All comments should try to stay relevant to their parent content.

Rule 9- Reposts from other platforms are not allowed.

Let everyone have their own content.

Rule 10- Majority of bots aren't allowed to participate here.

I have feet that are 10inches long and 4 1/2 inches wide. An online graph says that's size8 and 4wide. The most I've found online is 3 wide.

I've been using size 10 1/2 double wides and they're fine enough.

I'm as confused as you are.

I think she means they're quite bulky.

But the og playstation wasn't that large.

From smallest to largest

PlayStation PlayStation 2 PlayStation 4 PlayStation 3 PlayStation 5

Weight wise, PlayStation was also the lightest.

No but feet were gigantic shapes on people's legs that weren't in any way proportional to the rest of their bodies.

Unfortunately, the PlayStation One was discontinued by Sony in 2006, the same year they released the PlayStation 3. While a standard consumer could be recommended to simply upgrade to a more modern system like even the PlayStation 4, having PS1 consoles for feet may impact your ability to upgrade - especially if you're located in the US where healthcare can be difficult to come by.

Maybe take a look at the PlayStation Classic Sony released a few years back. However, it's important to note that it is a mini console, so the size will be smaller than what you're used to and may not be as comfortable. They may work as a stop-gap while you scour eBay or other online markets for a quality refurbish job; maybe aim to find some released closer to the last run in 2006 for longevity purposes.

Good luck!

[–] Jackolantern 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Try here : https://www.wideshoes.com

I hope that comes through as a link. My late husband wore a 10.5 EEEEEE and got most of his shoes there. Once you set up with them you can just order what fits

If you're okay with a thinner sole and spending some money, brands like belenka, real foot, and soft star (primal) should be in the right ballpark for you. Otherwise you'd be probably best off getting some shoes custom made if you want a guaranteed solution!

Thanks! Is there a term I should look for in custom shoe makers, like cobbler?

Edit: looking at the shoes you sent me I have a size 36 length (~23cm) and a size 47 width (~10.8cm).

[–] Eczpurt 1 points 1 year ago

I haven't dabbled in custom shoes personally so Im not too sure for keywords. I think cobblers are primarily for repairs like resoling shoes. If it helps too there are some shoe companies online that have "fitkits" where you can print out a template of what the shoe insoles look like and see if your foot will fit in their shoe. I really hope you can find something that works for you!

Sorry I can't be of much more help!

A professional podiatrist should be able to both verify your assessment of what size you need and offer options for where you can get them, if they are indeed exotic and not carried by normal retailers. They ought to have access to medical suppliers for exotic stuff.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Podiatrists can perscribe shoes? I should go go a podiatrists. I have 11 1/2 size feet with eeee w feet.i can never find shoes that actually fit. Like currently my shoes are 12 w and my feet feel near bound.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago

Thanks! I've never been exotic before.
