I highly recommend the Alien Armageddon mod on moddb. All the original levels are retouched and everything is just a little bit better while keeping with the spirit of the game.

Children of Men is my all time favorite comedy.
Tyrian ruined all other shunps for me. Fucking love this game.
I have a free version from GoG on pc. There's also a free android port on the play store but... Meh.

For both - the gameplay is perfect, the art is beautiful, and the music is amazing. Both games are masterworks that accomplished exactly what they set out to do.
