Artemis was a promising mobile app for Kbin, with a dedicated community, a rapid pace of development, and a high level of polish. Then, the developer disappeared.

I don't think it was intentional, the dev seemed to be struggling with health-related problems and possibly burnout. But yeah, definitely a depressing moment for an otherwise really cool project.

From the article it sounds like her health took a huge downward turn. Hope she is okay, and even if the project is dead Id like confirmation at some point that she isnt.

The project is cool but her health is more important

Sounds like she’s suffering from pretty debilitating chronic pain. Not good. Being in horrible pain is pretty miserable.

Sucks that it’s preventing a talented person from doing what they do so well. I hope they’re able to get good medical care.

Like everyone else you can only hope she’s ok.

It does seem like burnout is a factor here and in such cases it seems, and from my own experience too, that walking away without any contact isn’t an uncommon behaviour. So we can hope it’s that.

Thanks, fixed. Posting was a little broken earlier, and I made some incorrect assumptions about manually entering in metadata for the link (Kbin lets you upload the thumbnail manually).
