Dude, what the hell with all those pictures. They have to be AI generated or satire at this point, right?

The fattest soldering iron I've ever seen

Oh yeah, some of these irons get large

I've had to use one like this for a very, very high current connector we absolutely needed to minimize impedance on.

Breathe in the magic smoke!

Pro tip: use a twisty mass of solder instead of a straight bit because... no idea.

Wow I haven't touched an iron like that since high school. And it sure as shut wasn't for electronics

That AGP card will be fixed up in no time with that precision soldering!

The first soldering iron I ever used looked like that.

Of course, I did a terrible job...

I've just fucked up my 4th sofle RGB keyboard build and this image feels super relevant.

The instructions say the flat led bit is the easiest but it's the only part I can't do. Hot air, all different tips, prayers, sacrifices. Tried it all.

My blood is 50% liquid flux and my lungs are clogged by a kilo of solder blobs.

I've ordered a batch of 15 new PCBs. If anyone has clues feel free to let me know. Maybe I need a giant iron like OPs image.

And then I watched a 1 minute video of someone reflowing a part by accident and I've just reflowed them all perfectly first time.

Simultaneouly angry and happy
