Paragons of Virtue Arrested

It's time to name and shame the self-proclaimed paragons of virtue. Keep it civil, though.

Stories are about those who have been placed in positions of trust, and then abused that trust.

Feel free to add stories of the self-righteous from other walks of life.

New rule: With regard to stories of particularly, but not only, female teachers sexually assaulting students. Any comments similar to "where were they when I was in school" will earn you the right to find another forum.

The victim told police that when she was 16 years old, she secretly gave birth to the man’s baby in a closet. She said he dropped the baby off at a fire station, KHOU reported

Nobody noticed?

Can't really see stuff around you with blinders on.

That is rather the point of the fire station drop off. A pastor makes it even less likely to be noticed. Would likely get the 'must be helping someone in his congregation' response if he was e en seen at all.

I have to assume you are joking right? They aren't questioning how a man can drop a baby off, they were questioning how a 15/16 year old girl went ~9 months, gave birth (in a closet) and recovered without anyone else noticing. Family, friends, students possible coworkers and congregation members.

So she may be overweight. And if the people around her are misogynistic, some indications that she was being victimised could have been ignored on the basis of, she's not fit/attractive.
