Health Canada has recalled certain children’s cups after lead was found in them.

Where were these even sold? I don't think Health Canada monitors the millions of other similar products with names like ZJDINY on Amazon that probably have similar or worse issues.

Here it is from another bastion of ethical products - Shein.

They've also been recalled in the States, so it may have been identified as an issue there, or in another jurisdiction. With only 12 units sold in Canada, it seems likely.

From my understanding, the lead content is on the inside of the vacuum flask. Which is why it passed testing several times before someone cut it open and actually tested the inner material.
