MODERATORS
The past few Titan Quest DLCs were made by Pieces Interactive who are currently working on yet another Alone in the Dark remake. Titan Quest II is being made by Grimlore Games, who made the Spellforce 3 trilogy of RTS/RPG hybrids.
Not sure how much of an improvement that is, but it's not quite the worst-case scenario. So that's nice.
The newest Spellforce was fantastic, so I'm tentatively interested now.
I've spent many an hour playing TQ. Would love to see it in a modern engine, properly evolved for a sequel. Wonder what's the ETA.
Wasn't Grimdawn made by many of the same people?
Titan Quest and Grim Dawn is from the same Studio, yes.
With the last addon it even got a good controller layout so I recently did a new playthrough on my SteamDeck

can't complain at all - it's very smooth and except for the main-menu the controller-layount feel pretty good

I wonder how this will do with D4 being out and PoE2 maybe coming next year.
With D4 being the dud it is, they might have a chance to get some disgruntled people... They have my attention for sure...

Hyyype, even if it's just more slightly prettier TQ 1 i'm super happy.
I wonder if the success of Baldur's Gate got them to rush to get an announcement trailer together earlier than originally planned.
