Don't forget about Finland! They have a thing for buckets too.

In Finland, when a new store opens or when a parliamentary candidate is trying to raise awareness about their campaign or when anyone, really, wants people to attend an event, free buckets are usually given as an incentive. I has been reported in Finnish media that as many as 500 people have waited in line at once just for their free bucket.
