Since he's such a steaming pile of shit, he will likely use any escalation as a pretext for military action.
He is factually not the dumbest man on earth. We can criticize without discrediting ourselves with unnecessary hyperbole

Later today, Lutnik (Trump aid), said that "we will meet Canada/Mexico half way on tariffs.", with announcement tomorrow. So, maybe other direction.
