I only have one data point because I've only ever personally met one millionaire, and he definitely wasn't the type for introspection.
I think he had three wives as well, none of them he was currently married to. He cheated on a second wife with his secretary who became his third fir a bit. It must be something to do with the money, at a certain point you just think you can do whatever you want and alienate everyone around you. He was certainly a prick.

I don't know much about billionaires, so I just kind of assumed that they had kids with, like, royalty or business family heiresses or A-list actresses. Not with their employees and/or whoever is left at the cocktail party after the A-listers have gone.
Funny thing is I think a lot of these babies were by surrogacy and in vitro fertilization, I don't think there was actually a lot of sex going on with any of these women.

When one is dead and broken inside, they look to external quantitative factors for validation. They convince themselves that the more measurable & “objective” those factors are, the more they must be representing some underlying truth. They represent the meaning of life.
And the shitty thing is that those who only care about money and power see the worst of humanity getting rewarded with more money and more power.
Their fucked up personal lives aren’t evidence of something wrong with them. They are evidence that such silly feel-good nonsense is unnecessary at best, and a terrible weakness at worst. You know, the kind of shit you’d expect from a cartoon villain in a children’s movie.
Edit to add an anecdote: I’m sure people from conservative families will feel this one. Say in front of one of the broken people that Musk is an idiot and a bad father, and the reply will be something like “well he’s made a million times as much money as you, so that shows how smart you are!” Or maybe “his kids are set for life - have you done something like that for your kids?”

I chuckle every time I am reminded that he named one of his kids Sideræl. In norwegian that would be a slang for Side-junk or side-slop.
Side = side
Ræl = "junk," "trash," "rubbish," or "worthless stuff." It is an informal, somewhat dismissive term used to describe things that are of low quality, broken, or generally useless.
I think it was supposed to be Sidereal, which refers to astronomical measurements based on stars rather than the sun. But he couldn't even spell it right.
Elon can consider himself proper American now that he thinks Æ can be used as substitute for A, E, or a combination of the two. Same as you sometimes see shitheads use Ø instead of O.
To those of us who use those letters daily, it's just jarring, as it's a completely different letter with a different sound. It would be like writing Karspleesh and expect the spelling to carry the same pronunciation.

It's weird how one can be such an incel yet also a philanderer, but then again, the fact that some are employees suggests a bit of a power dynamic abuse. If an incel rapes someone, they're still an "involuntary celerate"
People use the word incel to the point of irrelevance. If you're having sex you're not involuntarily celibate.
Folks online were calling Henry Cavill an incel a while back. If these guys were celibate it would be by choice. If you're trying to criticize them in other ways, why not use the right words?
