This was disturbing

Glp-1 inhibitors have a place in medicine, but they are the not the panacea people seem to think they are

  • not tolerated by 25% patients
  • massive muscle wasting

And unless you plan on taking the inhibitor for the rest of your life, you still need to learn how to eat healthy for when you stop!

Something crazy like 80% of patients regain the weight they lost when they stop taking glp1 within 2 years.. but they regain fat, not muscle, so they are the original weight but less muscle

It's helpful to think of weight loss and maintenance as two separate skills. If you never practise either skill, a drug remedy is only going to worsen your health.
