They should have been opposing them for being unqualified and corrupt regardless of his shitty policies...wtf

Key word being "every nominee". He's still been against most of them

And has now been using more of their ability to delay nominations (though they cannot fully block without Republicans support)

Two of the earliest nominations were former congressmen which are actually qualified, corruptness aside, but Hegseth got 0 Dem votes and was still confirmed.

I don't like making phone calls so I emailed my Representative and both my Senators. I got a reply from Senator Adam Schiff. It's boilerplate, but the specific topics of the paragraphs indicate someone ticked off a list of the issues I raised (okay, "ranted about" might be more accurate, the phrases "Trump's blitzkrieg" and "choking on the smoke and dust of climate destruction" and "their very existence denied" and "already being rounded up regardless of their legal right to be here" and " your vow to uphold the Constitution" were in there) to program the reply. So someone is keeping track of what his constituents are pushing for.

I mean, I don't think "reflexively opposing" is really a good thing, ever

in this case though "reflexively opposing" and "opposing on merit" would (as far as I know) yield the same outcome, so it's functionally the same thing.

I don't hate Trump's nominee's because I hate Trump, I hate them because they're antithetical to a working government.

Uh, except for the whole Iraq thing. Don't mention that to them, they get upset.

Great now people need to somehow pressure 4 senate republicans.

I won't hold my breath.
