North America (and the EU once they get their tariffs) is REAL fucked.

But good on Canada and Mexico for retaliatory tariffs that target red states. They... don't actually because so many of the red states are just leeches (seriously, look up how much orange juice florida ACTUALLY makes these days) but it is a nice gesture to acknowledge that not all of us are fucking psychotic and want to watch the world burn if it means brown people and The Gays die first.

If you are a non-Trump voter in a red state, especially if you work for the flagship company or industry in that state, I would like to apologize on behalf of all Canadians for what our government is about to do. We don't want to do it but it is the only way to deal with a bully.

This is what the majority of US voters wanted. Unleash the fucking kraken - we desperately need a find-out phase that hurts bad enough to leave a lasting impression.

We Americans support you. We understand what will happen and we accept it as a way to fight evil.

Canada you do you and please protect yourselves from these stupid idiots.

Fuck racist, fascist, and Republicans. They are all the same picture.

Seems like Canada might be looking to hit President Musk hard.

I sure hope so.

As an American, I totally get it, do what you gotta do, Canada. Like all bullies, Trump only understands someone punching back or capitulating, so punch away.

Hopefully if the fever ever breaks here, there will be some sane survivors left to rebuild the relationship.

“People say ‘Well, this could be just a short-term thing,’ and maybe it is, but it also could be a long-term, structural thing,” he said.

This is ultimately my hope with all of this. We increase trade and connections with everyone else in the world and they all do as well. As it backfires(?) and brings down the US hegemony, Canada needs to be prepared to leave big brother behind and move on with our cousins and siblings from another mother.

I think some drone factories might be in good order for Canada, too.

Trump is already deranged and unhinged, when he gets desperate he'll be even more dangerous. All our old allies need to take this threat seriously and prepare.
