I have no problem with it, but it sounds like an exhausting way of making money.

Rule 3- Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here.
Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here. Breaking this rule will not get you or your post removed, but it will put you at risk, and possibly in danger.
Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.
That's it.
Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.
Questions which, instead of being of an innocuous nature, are specifically intended (based on reports and in the opinion of our crack moderation team) to bait users into ideological wars on charged political topics will be removed and the authors warned - or banned - depending on severity.
Rule 6- Regarding META posts and joke questions.
Provided it is about the community itself, you may post non-question posts using the [META] tag on your post title.
On fridays, you are allowed to post meme and troll questions, on the condition that it's in text format only, and conforms with our other rules. These posts MUST include the [NSQ Friday] tag in their title.
If you post a serious question on friday and are looking only for legitimate answers, then please include the [Serious] tag on your post. Irrelevant replies will then be removed by moderators.
Rule 7- You can't intentionally annoy, mock, or harass other members.
If you intentionally annoy, mock, harass, or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.
Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.

Let everyone have their own content.
Rule 10- Majority of bots aren't allowed to participate here.

No. I'll probably try to set up my own website.
Conceptually, yeah, but it seems like a huge hassle to cultivate a following and maintain it.
I have a bit of an exhibitionist kink. If I thought I could make more money then I currently do, I totally would.
I wouldn't even think twice.
If I was very desperate and my current job no longer sufficed, sure I'd hop on OnlyFans or FeetFinder and give it a go. The problem I have is more one of laziness. I like showing off my body, and spend a good amount of time cultivating parts like my ass and thighs to look attractive. The limiting factor is that I don't have anyone to hold a camera. It's a lot of fun to model, it's a lot less fun to setup a camera/mic, create a scene, and actually take 30-40 pictures/30 sec vid clips. If I had to do it for survival, I could, but I prefer just sending simple thirst traps to fwb.
If I thought I would actually make money? Sure. But most people that do OF aren't really making more than pocket change.
I don't think most people would be interested in paying for first-person shooting competition video--although maybe they would if I had the $8k or so for a VR camera so that it could be immersive--and most people don't have a huge interest in rope tops. So, eh.
I'd do that just for fun, but I don't mind getting paid for that either. The main reason I haven't yet is simply because I've been busy doing other things. But it is on my list of fun activities to try out
I will do even for free, I just want someone who can setup everythign and I act as a model lol
I'd probably use Fansly instead of OF, but yeah, absolutely. (Assuming that I had the drive to actually do the marketing legwork and had something to offer that was actually in demand, that is)
If you don't enjoy it as a hobby, you won't enjoy it as a business.
Do you enjoy taking nudes for fun? Go for it. If not, OF would be the worst "job" you've ever had, being just below roaming in train tracks looking for pennies.
Amazon hires anyone hiring.amazon.com
Most people don't enjoy their hobbies anymore when they turn it into a business.
Benefits
Health benefits, parental leave, paid time off, holiday overtime, employee discounts, and more.
It's insane that those things have to be listed in a so-called developed country (except employee discounts, that's an actual benefit)
I’m not the right demographic to make money doing that.
No, I would rather do a side job than selling my nude body - even if I was to keep it as anonymous as possible. I feel very strongly about unauthorized people seeing my private parts - and by unauthorized I mean anyone I don't have a sexual affection for.
And I would be ashamed even more if friends, colleagues or family got a hold of my OF and somehow figured out it was me (for example super drunk me could easily leak myself for whatever stupid reason).
I am aware that I would likely have a fanbase as I am a slim short king in my early 20s but I am making enough with my job and the regular IT stuff my friends and family come up with (building & upgrading PCs, fixing software & hardware issues, helping with privacy issues, selfhosting and smart home tech... the standard stuff) and I feel that I would make less or have less relaxed quality time if I was to do OnlyFans.
As for your friend. If they have any hobby they could make a side job (like I am doing with IT service) I would do that before. I got a creative artist friend who makes artworks and puts them on Etsy and another one does music & patreon and keep OnlyFans as the nuclear option.
Ok if for some reason, let's say I like, went viral for wearing a speedo on a dare, and suddenly the whole internet is like "yo wheres his OF at?"
Absolutely. It'd be a quick few fucking million dollars.
But like, as a nearly 40 year old dude who has no general recognition? I would earn $0. There are tons of penises to look at just like mine out there for free.
Would if I could. Nobody is gonna send me money for nudes.
They ought to pay the models better too.
I suppose there is some level of poverty I would consider becoming a sex worker for, but it would be an absolute last resort.
