I personally am extremely concerned about the fact that Windows is already at version 11 but Linux has not even made it to version 7 yet.

So you are saying there is no reason not to double Linux to version 12 in order to out-do Windows?
Why stop there? We could go as high as 95 or 98
Aye we heard this in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008,2009, 2010, I don't remember about 2011. 2012, 2013, 2014.....
Linux was improving before and continues to improve. The fact the top PC gaming handheld is a Linux offering is pretty telling and shows just how much improvement has happened and will continue to happen.
It changed and got better and better all thought those years too...
A much bigger snail pace than before is most accurate.

Change is not always for the best. I used to like Linux for the stability.
Lol right. Wayland is still technically a stability downgrade from X11.
