More likely he had no real semblance of getting away with it and just happened to escape due to the incompetence of the NYPD.

People who typically go through these plans are not the most mentally stable, he was probably expecting to be caught so he wrote his manifesto beforehand and thought he'd try to see how far he could get.

Most of all, he probably did not expect the authorities fail to ID him, which is also why he made it for so long.

Even the Mcdonalds employee might have reported him for other reasons like loitering or general sketchiness and not because they thought he was the shooter.

Still I think it's funny how he inadvertently proved the ease of crime with pretty basic rules. Any sort of organized crime, especially one off jobs could probably do it even more discretely and get away with it.

There were so many actual worn down and permanently damaged prisoners they could have easily interviewed and they reported the one dude part of the regime trying to slip away.

Really it's more because CNN showed up days later after all the prisoners had escaped Assad's hellhole, so it's possible they really did find this guy by chance trying to hide.

But he looks so fresh and unharmed in front of the camera, I wouldn't be surprised if they asked for a setup and got baited.

As long as they can keep it rolling stable, which is possible even with arch, I can see this pickup up a bit, especially for new users.

Plenty of users are sick of windows 11.

Lmao this was the same artist who made a full page comic panel telling people to suck it up and vote Harris without demanding changes or improvements for another 4 years, assuming she actually won.

Liberals don't do jack when it comes to outrageous actions, they won't ever move past protests.

Even the recent shooter wasn't some longtime liberal or even a leftist. He was just some dude who was fed up and likely suffered various mental pain which is why they caught him with all the possible incriminating evidence they needed. He had no true intention of slipping away, he somehow convinced himself that what he did would give him enough public support for change (regardless of whether or not that will actually happen).

Actually the Senate passed this in July. It took until now for Congress to pass literally the easiest partisan bill probably because they were waiting to use it as their next shitty rider platform, or because they were too busy wasting time creating a new committee to investigate TikTok.

I hope they don't so I can enjoy my superior clamshell designs in peace.

Last thing I need is a bunch of braindead apple users getting hyped up over features Nintendo made 2 decades ago, followed by every Android OEM realizing they can stop improving the hardware and downgrade the hinge to save 5 cents on every device produced.

Not to mention foldables require a minimum semblance of device care, which I can personally assure you most phone owners do not have.

You can always find it cheaper on Ebay.

This is actually somewhat true again now that Amazon has gone full monopoly abuse, but for a while Ebay was nothing but 1:1 with Amazon sellers and a serious lack of auctions.

Although you can go much lower with Ali Express and Temu, albeit with risk invovled.

A bit off topic but the ~~film industry~~ Hollywood has stagnated quite a bit since a lot of investors have pivoted into video games a decade ago.

Combined with the craphouse that is streaming, and you don't have a good environment for new & fresh ideas to be taken seriously.

All that remains is franchise monoliths that studios have been aggressively recycling for content, and poor executions thay don't have any resemblance of an artistic vision or concept.

Don't worry, there are still a lot of interesting and great films out there, just maybe not in the same capacity and/or quality as before.

Going through old one off films from the 80s and 90s with mediocre or poor reviews often seem like they'd do pretty well if released today, especially in the streaming space.

I would have posted an article/picture version but ONN didn't write one lol.
