I've lived all over the US. You won't have any such issues. Enjoy your trip and take some nice photos!

If you get lost or need some help, say you are visiting from Germany and need some help. People will be glad to give it.

I've lived all over the place, it's not going to be an issue anywhere. Some people may have opinions, but they will keep to themselves.

Ukraine has been building out their drone production heavily. It's easy to disperse and doesn't require large facilities that can be destroyed. (A few guys in a garage with a 3d printer and a steady parts supply can pump those suckers out.) And with US, UK, and French authorization to hit targets inside Russia, Russia's air defense is stretched extra thin. Furthermore, Russia has not kept pace with new construction of equipment, things blow up and just aren't replaced.

I only see this pace increasing, Russia has lost the ability to defend their airspace.

I just sent some money over to United 24 (Ukraine's official fundraising platform). If you are able, please do so as well. They could use it.

Y'all remember when the start menu would actually do a good job searching and opening programs, instead of searching Bing for "Steam"? I don't want to search Bing for Steam, I want to open Steam, that is why I am typing into the start menu and not into a browser's search box. They should get their engineers on that search issue. Maybe just grab Win 7's start menu search code and put it in Win 11.

Use this as an opportunity. Put in more effort to make it happen. Yeah, it isn’t a straightforward path, but not many things in life are.

Good luck man! Life is sometimes hard, but we get through it.

It's also right at the end of the prior generation. Let's get Switch 2 release numbers in and compare to Switch 1 release numbers before we draw too many conclusions.

That said, the PC market has been overtaking consoles. Particularly since PC handhelds are a thing. Things like the Steam Deck are directly competing with Switch and (soon) Switch 2 sales.

The main issue I see there is the power still has to come from somewhere. All this would likely do is move the pci-e power plugs to the motherboard and cause lots of confusion related to: "this GPU only requires two plugs of power, but the motherboard has three plugs, do I need to plug in all three? My PSU only has two pci-plugs."

Those are other users' comments. Not sure how those are relevant to JiveTurkey's comments.

The Pokemon games all being the same caused me to get bored of them years ago. And now with them suing Palworld for 'capturing monsters with an object and summoning them in 3d space', a patent made after Palworld released their trailer, I find the Nintendo brand actively harmful to the state of gaming.

If they want to control the company, without outright buying it, yes. It's the classic way to acomplish a hostile takeover. Thing is, buying half the shares on the market is often more expensive than the current market cap, as mass buying shares sends the price up quickly.

When buying a company outright (ie, your company actually owns the purchased company and both sides agreed to the transfer), then it is common to buy out all the shares at (around) current market value.
