A shitty man with a shitty company. No normal person is surprised. Fuck CEOs and the rich.

I think it's awesome. A million to most of these companies is so so so so tiny and yet the amount of bad PR it had purchased is 100000x any good PR they could have purchased.

Yet we just bitch about it and he tipped one of the most important people in the world his equivalent of a quarter to gain influence or shield himself.

The people voted for the mafia but are upset that people are paying for protection?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

Sure. It's pointless to be shocked by any of this but it is still disappointing.

Like he cares, he just cares about making money. Of course he'll back Trump, he's gonna make everything so much better right? /s

Yeah, I’m done with Apple at this point.

[–] [email protected] 22 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I've been done with Apple since...1997.

But they ain't the only one donating. All the corporations recognize that Trump is Pay to Win. Especially in his final term. Nothing is off the table.

Final term? I like your optimism.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 days ago

To be fair they didn't specify how long that term will be....

He's an obese 78 year old with a drug habit. There's a pretty good chance he won't even survive 4 years.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Oh I have no doubt he will try to end presidential term limits but also pretty confident he will fail.

[–] MutilationWave 1 points 2 days ago

I'm at about 25% he dies during this term. If JD and the masters can corral MAGA they could be in power forever.

So 1 million is the price to not get deported as a gay couple? Or what exactly was paid by this?

When the new mafia leader gets into power, everyone needs to symbolically kiss his ring in order to get on his good side

It's just enough to declare to the world you are a pathetic piece of shit. Congratulations Tim fucking Apple

[–] [email protected] 9 points 2 days ago

Bad timing Tim Apple... He'll forget about you among all those other ~~tithes~~ donations

Steve Jobs would’ve hated this

[–] [email protected] 18 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yeah he would have donated more.

[–] friend_of_satan 2 points 2 days ago

Steve Jobs was known for not donating money to anything, so who knows, maybe he wouldn't have donated. I'm sure his ego would've put him at odds with Trump, and I'd bet money Jobs would've hated Trump just because of who Trump is. I wouldn't be surprised if there's Steve Jobs fan fic about him and Trump being at odds and trying to undermine each other.
