I'm not sure I can even think of any Thanksgiving movies. Aside from the horror one that came out last year, which I have yet to see.

Over the Garden Wall is pure essence of autumn.

It's not a movie, but its complete runtime (ten 11-minute episodes) is under 2 hours and has all the eerie, melancholic silliness that your soul needs while dealing with family.

Definitely more Halloween than Thanksgiving, but definitely very autumnal.

If we're doing TV shows, "Bob's burgers" has a lot of great Thanksgiving episodes.

home for the holidays

love this movie. all star cast... holly hunter, rdj, anne bancroft, steve guttenberg, a young claire danes.

its just freakin hilarious, and so rewatchable.
