This is just being obtuse for no reason, even climate scientists would still call extreme weather events "natural disasters".
Humans changing the natural environment doesn't make it any less natural. We're part of nature too, you know.

Problem solved.
No no no, see they are OUTSIDE the environment.
Insurance companies: ... yeah you aren't covered because this was an unnatural disaster!
While insuring the oil companies.
so, you're saying all those hurricane damage insurance claims denied because 'acts of god' or somesuch bullshit, should be reversed and paid......
The government never built a weather machine. But the oil companies did. It took decades, but they built a carbon spewing machine thatβs doing a fantastic job changing the weather, and they knew it 50 years ago.

This feels more and more as just debating semantics.
So it's been the conservatives controlling the weather machine all along. They've known about, and lied about, the effects of fossil fuels since the earliest scientific studies all in the name of keeping the profit machine rolling.
i dunno. i really like the idea of ma nature fighting back.
