This is just being obtuse for no reason, even climate scientists would still call extreme weather events "natural disasters".

Humans changing the natural environment doesn't make it any less natural. We're part of nature too, you know.

The government never built a weather machine. But the oil companies did. It took decades, but they built a carbon spewing machine that’s doing a fantastic job changing the weather, and they knew it 50 years ago.

So it's been the conservatives controlling the weather machine all along. They've known about, and lied about, the effects of fossil fuels since the earliest scientific studies all in the name of keeping the profit machine rolling.
