Seems like I get a lot of failed page loads, and the instance status site frequently shows it as down, but usually briefly.

Yeah there's a pinned post making reference to some attacks they're experiencing.

I saw that, but I thought cloudflare was suppose to insulate from those, and that's been implemented now.

Db shouldn't have a public IP address, I'd hope. Just use internal Hetzner ip.

Be patient, young padawans. Lemmy.world is new and is experiencing growing pains. Maybe help out at their patreon.

I donated both to .world and to the developers a couple weeks back. Will probably do something monthly.
