πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ A battle took place a few hours ago: the russians were advancing with armored vehicles but encountered our tank, which wished the occupiers a "good" night. The survivors have replenished the exchange fund>

The positions from which they launched their offensive were counterattacked by assault groups of the 225th Separate Assault Battalion and are now under our control. We continue our work; stay tuned for updates.

Driving straight into a MBT is certainly one of the strategies of all time

Then when you survive, you go round the corner of your wrecked vehicle to check, as if needing to confirm that "yup, thats a tank".

Also goddamn that one guy running straigh across, past the front of the tanks, towards the treeline.

The whole crew must have been caught off guard, surprised no one swept him with an aux. This is some WWII shit with modern hardware.

Looks very much like the tank (and its friend) had taken a hit and was being checked out by infantry; great way to test the expendability of russian infantry.

This is actually ridiculous. I bet the tank operators were so confused haha

Gunner - "Are you sure those aren't our guys!?"

Commander - "Yes, fire!"

You weren't lying when you said point blank. That cannot have been more than 10 meters away.

My God I can't imagine how that blast must've felt on the body.

Were they trying to forfeit? I really don't understand the logic of driving almost straight at an enemy tank and showing your broad side.

Fog of war, misidentification and disorientation.

The brr crew must have thought these were friendlies.. noone would knowingly drive at enemy armor like this...

Yeah I'm guessing this because it's a T-72B yeah? They must have missed the Ukrainian colors lmao.

The driver saw "a tank" at best. If the gunner/commander were even looking in the right direction, nothing tells us their lens wasn't dirty, the optics broken or everything was shaking too violently for a proper look. It's easy to overestimate how much you can really see out of your steel coffin, especially when it's 40 year old soviet steel coffins.
