A far right Hasidic leader who's followers claimed he was the Messiah...

You may be familiar with them as the Hasidic group in NYC that got caught building tunnels to illegally expand past their property lines and take over vacated building as their own.

Created in 1775, it's been controlled by one family, although a few times power was transferred to a son in law instead of the son. However the son-in-law was always descended from the founder too. Just crazy amounts of inbreeding over and over again for generations.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chabad

There's no current "leader" because a significant amount of followers don't see death as something that can stop their Messiah from coming back.

Trump's not the only one that likes this guy tho, every president going back to Nixon have been on this guy's nuts, and multiple have declared his birthday various "national _____ day".

It's incredibly fucked up how much we're legitimizing this cult.

Edit:

This article is painfully short. Here’s 7/8 of it:

Former President Donald Trump offered his signature as a souvenir while visiting the gravesite of a revered Jewish rabbi to honor the victims of the Oct. 7 attacks.

“Would you like me to sign this?" Trump asked after being given a book to remember the occasion.

I think normally this wouldn’t warrant any notice, except that it’s similar to what he did with the guestbook at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum where he signed like it was a school yearbook:

It is a great honor to be here with all of my friends. So amazing + will Never Forget!

The only story here is that he’s a vapid child, as per usual.

e: formatting. Dunno why my client suddenly wants to add backspaces before quotes and links. Nor why autocorrect wants me to talk like a pirate. >:(

That’s some weird shit right there.

This is so weird, wasn't trump saying some really anti-jew stuff very recently?

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 month ago

He’s a well-documented antisemite, who thinks Jews are fine if they’re in their place, counting his money.

Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day.

(source)

He also recently said:

If I don't win this election - and the Jewish people would really have a lot to do with that if that happens because if 40%, I mean, 60% of the people are voting for the enemy - Israel, in my opinion, will cease to exist within two years.

(source)

He only cares about Jews if he can use their bodies as a ladder, just like everyone else who isn’t trump.

I'm surprised he didn't autograph the tombstone. I'm sure the family would want him to.
