RULES (updated 01/22/25)

  1. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling. To be concise, disrespect is defined by escalation.
  2. Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible. You won't be punished for trying.
  3. Avoid controversial topics (politics or societal debates come to mind, though we are not saying not to talk about anything that resembles these). There's a guide in the protocol book offered as a mod model that can be used for that; it's vague until you realize it was made for things like the rule in question. At least four purple answers must apply to a "controversial" message for it to be allowed.
  4. Keep it clean and SFW: No illegal content or anything gross and inappropriate. A rule of thumb is if a recording of a conversation put on another platform would get someone a COPPA violation response, that exact exchange should be avoided when possible.
  5. No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc. The chart redirected to above applies to spam material as well, which is one of the reasons its wording is vague, as it applies to a few things. Again, a "spammy" message must be applicable to four purple answers before it's allowed.
  6. Respect privacy as well as truth: Don’t ask for or share any personal information or slander anyone. A rule of thumb is if something is enough info to go by that it "would be a copyright violation if the info was art" as another group put it, or that it alone can be used to narrow someone down to 150 physical humans (Dunbar's Number) or less, it's considered an excess breach of privacy. Slander is defined by intentional utilitarian misguidance at the expense (positive or negative) of a sentient entity. This often links back to or mixes with rule one, which implies, for example, that even something that is true can still amount to what slander is trying to achieve, and that will be looked down upon.

Finally started painting the fantastical creature I sculpted over the summer. I’m about 50% done!

I played one (1) game of Age of Mythology. Just too busy to play much more. I do so enjoy it when I get the time though. It was a win, but I looked up my opponent afterwards and it was only their 4th or 5th game.

Also finally got back out an went for a run today, for the first time since the start of the month.

My roommate is obsessed with a board game based on his favorite video game, so I've been 3D printing accessories and pieces for it and he's been painting them.

I've looked at the calendar three times and it says Tuesday here in the US. SIGH. I am still trying to wake up. 3rd cup of coffee. I really want to get back into knitting... I am just not sure where to start again. I have SO much yarn in my stash, so many patterns in my head... I have too many options and can't just pick one.

Oh sorry, it's a bank holiday here in Spain and I got confused! Let's just switch today and tomorrow's topic ha ha

Oh that's amusing. So it's just a complete coincidence that you posted it shortly after midnight on Wednesday in the very earliest time zone, then?

Also you confuse me. French pronouns, on a German-hosted instance, and you say you live in Spain. Pick a country!

To be fair this is a very early post. It's 10:30 pm here as I write this in Australia, and the post reads "2 hours". So that means it's set for somewhere 4 hours ahead of me, or UTC+14, the very earliest time zone there is, home to the Line Islands of Kiribati, and nowhere else.

I've did some 3d printing and modelling, made a case for one of my favorite card ganes that was just too big for its original case when sleeved. Had choir. Farted out a small trainer application for my choir so we can get heavy into musical scale training. Should be done by the weekend. Today its pen & paper. Also finished tge case if the golden idol yesterday and uploaded a video for that to my youtube channel. Also started a dark souls playthrough with a mod that changes a lot of things. Fun so far.

That was the last 3 days for me.

Game wise, I'm addicted to playing PS3 games on RPCS3 in 4K! Currently playing Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction with the anti-freeze patch. The anti-freeze patch is only said to work on older versions of RPCS3, so I downloaded an older version of the emulator as a precaution!

Art wise, I've finished some more things on my biblically accurate angel drawing!
