I think you might be right.

[–] jaybone 3 points 3 months ago

Can you ask it for the concrete plan then?

[–] CitizenKong 27 points 3 months ago (1 children)

He'll probably write something more like: "HEY, Mr. Chat! Make me, TRUMP, the GREATEST health car PLAN ever, better than that of LAME and corrupt OBOMA!!!!

[–] [email protected] 22 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Alright, Mr. President, let’s make a healthcare plan that’s HUGE and the BEST ever! We’re talking about something that’s going to blow Obama’s plan out of the water. Here’s how we’re going to do it:

  1. Lower Costs for All

Price Transparency: Hospitals and healthcare providers must show prices up front. No more surprise bills! People can shop around for the best deals. It’s basic business, right? People love options, and we’re going to give them more choices than ever. Negotiating Drug Prices: We’re making Big Pharma compete. The government negotiates lower prices for medications, saving Americans billions. No more paying three times what they pay in other countries!

  2. Private Sector Competition

Promote Private Insurance Competition: We’re going to let insurance companies compete across state lines. If an insurer in Florida offers better rates, why shouldn’t someone in New York get that? Competition drives prices down—it’s a win-win for Americans. Health Savings Accounts (HSAs): Expanding HSAs so people can save more tax-free dollars for healthcare costs. Families keep control over their money and their healthcare.

  3. Pre-Existing Conditions? Covered!

Guarantee Coverage for Pre-existing Conditions: No one will be left out because they’re already sick. Period. That was one thing people liked about Obama’s plan, so we’re keeping that but making it BETTER.

  4. Cutting the Red Tape

Streamlined Regulations: Too much bureaucracy is driving up costs. We’ll cut out unnecessary regulations on healthcare providers so they can focus on patients, not paperwork. This makes care faster and more affordable for everyone.

  5. Innovation and Access

Technology-Driven Care: Telemedicine is here to stay! More access to doctors via phone or video, which is cheaper and more convenient. Plus, fast-tracking approval for new, cutting-edge treatments and cures. Invest in Preventive Care: Promote healthier lifestyles to reduce chronic diseases. Healthy people cost less in healthcare!

  6. Medicare Reform

Strengthen Medicare: It’s a lifesaver for seniors, and we’re going to make it sustainable for future generations. Cutting wasteful spending but ensuring that seniors still get the best care.

  7. Free-Market Innovation

Encourage Innovation: The private sector is great at developing solutions. Incentivize companies to come up with new, cheaper, and better treatments through innovation grants and tax incentives.

  8. Mental Health Services

Improved Mental Health Coverage: Mental health is health. Expanding access to mental health services, making sure people can get the care they need without jumping through hoops.

  9. Tort Reform

Lawsuit Reform: Reducing the number of frivolous lawsuits against doctors and hospitals. This brings down the cost of malpractice insurance, which means lower costs for patients.

  10. Choice and Flexibility

Optional Public Plan: People who are happy with their private insurance can keep it, but we’ll introduce a public option for those who want something different. More choice, more freedom.

This is it, the TRUMPcare Plan—BIG, BOLD, and puts Americans FIRST! Affordable, better options, no waste, and everyone’s covered. We’ll make healthcare great again, better than ever!

"Shut up, Chat, you're a communist!"

This is what I expect to happen when AI gives solutions to climate change. Which is what Sam Altman bangs on about in interviews to justify all the power AI models are taking up.

The solutions are all sitting right there. What people actually want is solutions that cost about three fity and don't require any lifestyle changes. ChatGPT will just tell us about all the solutions sitting there, but that's not the answer people like Altman want.

Amen. It drives me fuckin' nuts anytime -- in business as well as in sci-fi and general discussion -- when people envision a society made perfect because it's run by a genius computer.

For pretty much every challenge society faces, the major obstacle is not that we're unsure what to do or lack the intelligence to solve. We already have all the solutions, it's just that our decision making systems are completely disinterested in employing any of the solutions that we already have.

It's like, if you could get everyone to agree to listen to a computer, why not just skip the computer and get everyone to agree to listen to a combination of popular will and expert advice? Popular will and expert advice are like the supercomputer that runs society that we already have.

Most likely anything Chat GPT will come with is still better than US system.

Okay. I gave it:

You are a presidential candidate on a debate stage. You have been asked about Healthcare and you said you have the "concepts of a plan." When the moderator further presses you on it ... what are these concepts of a plan?

And it gave back:

If I were a presidential candidate being pressed on the "concepts of a healthcare plan," I would respond with something like this:

"The key concepts of my healthcare plan revolve around three fundamental goals: affordability, accessibility, and innovation.

  1. Affordability: We need to lower healthcare costs for everyone, from families to businesses. This means negotiating drug prices, reducing administrative waste, and encouraging competition among insurance providers to drive down premiums and out-of-pocket expenses. I also plan to explore tax credits for small businesses to help them provide healthcare for employees, as well as options for expanded government-sponsored insurance for those who are struggling to afford private plans.
  1. Accessibility: Every American deserves access to healthcare, no matter where they live or what their income level is. We need to expand healthcare infrastructure in rural and underserved areas, using technology such as telemedicine to bridge gaps. My plan will ensure that insurance coverage cannot be denied due to pre-existing conditions and that there are no lifetime limits on care.
  1. Innovation: The future of healthcare lies in innovation, and we need to support cutting-edge research in medical technology and treatments, including investing in preventive care and personalized medicine. We’ll foster public-private partnerships to encourage the development of new cures and ensure that our healthcare system keeps pace with the needs of our population.

This approach will balance individual choice with collective responsibility, ensuring that healthcare is affordable, accessible, and forward-thinking for every American."

You didn't specify american president, it just added that on it's own. Training bias I guess

TFW ChatGPT makes a better president than you and it can't even reason and think

OpenAI just released their reasoning model today. OpenAI-o1for Pres. 2028!

For how much he lies, why the fuck would he say this? Why draw the line here and not just say he does like he did before? Genuinely baffled by this one.
