Stanley, it's time to stop pressing buttons, go back to your wife.
That was a big joke in the Jetsons though. His day was literally sitting at a desk poking a button and he was apparently bad enough at it that his boss was constantly up his ass about it.
How well does The Jetsons hold up you think?
I started thinking about downloading when I linked the video so I dunno, I guess I'll let you know in like a week.
You left your SI in the link
My what now
It's a tracking code Google assigned to you and stuffed into your links even though it's useless to you. What it does is tell Google who clicks on your links so they know who you're talking to on other websites. It's the part after ?si=
Dope, thanks for the heads up
That was a fun time, now I'm at the stage of conveying the concept of hobbies that can also be careers and learning for fun
"Why are you in the black window! You're not working!"
"Sometimes the black window is work and sometimes it's my own project I'm doing for fun or learning"
"Why are you learning, you don't go-to school anymore!"
"Because it's fun to learn new things, even when I'm not made to"
"That sounds like work still"
"It's just like work, except I don't get paid, and nobody is helping me."
As opposed to hardly getting paid and nobody helping you.
Sometimes I forget that I'm lucky that my job doesn't suck
I get more help from others when I'm writing software for fun than for work.
This is the story of a man named Stanley... EDIT: damnit, didn't notice the joke was already made, I truly have no original thought 😔
Yeah well I saw your comment first, so you keep doing you.
This is when the child should be told about the concept of "looking busy".
"All of them"
About 20.

God Dammit Loch Ness Monster, I ain't gonna give you no tree fiddy.
Wait a minute, this ain’t no new hire
the question is fair, i'll allow it
Governments don't want a population capable of critical thinking, they want obedient workers, people just smart enough to run the machines and just dumb enough to passively accept their situation.

POV: You’re Homer Simpson.
Just those hundred ones here. But I have to press them repeatedly and on a set pattern.
