And if I only could

Make a deal with my cat

And I could get him to

Stop eating plastic

My life too, and the cat in the photo resembles mine. Having a 3D printer in the house means having to be constantly vigilant about small plastic bits not missing the trashcan because otherwise my idiot will try to eat them and then puke them up somewhere.

One of mine gets into grocery bags and licks them.

One of our cats tries to bite into plastic bags, but he misses. Every time. He keeps biting just past the side, so that he's only biting air. I don't know if he knows he's only biting air.

I, too, would like to crawl into an enormous hollow snack and lick my way out.

There does exist biological plastic made of plants. That might work as an equivalent to e cigarettes

What it's made from is irrelevant. Plastic doesn't break down in the gut and can cause dangerous blockages.

True but micro plastics is extra bad I think

Micro plastics come from the balls.

I put them in my stir fry, it really makes the noodles pop.

Weren't the first plastics made of the original biopolymer? Celluloid from cellulose?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 months ago

Donno but sounds plausible

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 months ago

If cats are made of a high level of plastic, that could explain a lot.

Pretty much. No plastic bag can be left sitting out for fear that it will be ingested.
