Finally watched "Nope". Loved it. I love horror but usually prefer supernatural stuff, so slept on this one a good long while, but man, great character writing, excellent story telling. I see why so many people recommended it

Currently watching Attack on Titan season 4. It’s one hell of a season though.
I've been watching Babylon 5. I'm pretty sure I saw it recommended on Lemmy some time back. No one mentioned it started with a movie!
So anyway, I've watched the first season, and then I watched the movie The Gathering.
Pretty much only the Olympics. Has been a blast so far, I know there's lots left but I'm already dreading it ending. It's smack in the middle of my time zone for the first time in 12 years, so actually being able to follow everything live has been fantastic.
Also been heavily into the Olympics. My favourite sports have been judo and gymnastics with some trampoline and boxing on the side. Excited for wrestling, taekwondo, and weightlifting next week. What sports you been into?
I'm honestly watching almost anything, revelling in being able to flick through the broadcasts live for once. The only things I really don't get are golf and the various horse disciplines. I usually don't enjoy cycling too much, but Pidcock's comeback victory after a puncture in Mountain Biking was insane and worth a watch.
Street Skateboard and BMX Freestyle are probably my favorites to watch, but those are already done and gone. We do have Park Skateboarding coming up though.
Sebastien Patrice was lots of fun to watch in Saber fencing, that was a surprise hit for me. Winning bronze for men's team sabre with a jumping parry riposte was pure entertainment. I always like watching the archery, and the men's final today was absolutely thrilling. Been following Truls Möregårdh in table tennis too, but he finally came up against superior opposition in the final. Beachvolley is also fun to watch.
Periodically checking in to catch the big stuff like swimming and track & field finals, of course.
I just watched Abigail. I liked it a lot better than I thought I would. The trailers made me think it was a garbage one-dimensional movie, but now having seen it I'm not sure the trailers could've been better without exposing too much. Maybe not the greatest movie, just better than expected.
I recently finished Attack on Titan. The last season was a bit of a struggle for me to get through as this was my 3rd attempt in, but I'm very glad I got there. The final end credits scenes were breathtakingly surreal.
I rewatched Demon Slayer up through Mugen Train, and for the first time am on the Entertainment District arc. I watch subbed but for fun I tried one dubbed - as soon as I heard Inosuke I switched back.
Game of thrones. This is my first rewatch, I really appreciate how complex the story is, and the foreshadowing really pops out now on this rewatch. Currently on episode 3 season 1
Yesterday I watched The Outfit. It was excellent and though I wasn't sure where it was going the end was perfect.
I think it was on Netflix.
I also watched the Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare earlier in the week. Obviously it was over the top but the real people back in WWII did do some crazy shit because the regular soldiers were not prepared to deal with soldiers willing to not follow any rules of warfare at all. A better story about SAS commandos is Rogue Heroes on amazon and I really hope they do a second season of it following the European theatre of war.
The Serpent Queen! I'm not usually into period drama type stuff but this is really good.
Also I would like to discuss the Drag Race All Stars 9 results with someone very badly because I HAVE EMOTIONS around it.
The new Deadpool movie, great chemistry between Jackman and Reynolds.
season 1 of xmen. the original. just finished the apocalypse episodes. this show has some fucked up moments
StarTalk w/ Neil DeGrasse Tyson and some music videos, all on YouTube.
Mostly porn and hentai. And YouTube shorts.
