Governors Roy Cooper of North Carolina and Andy Beshear of Kentucky — directly overlapped with Ms. Harris as attorneys general. Now-Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania came into the job as she was leaving her post, and as Mr. Trump entered the White House.

I would not call any of those choices terrific. And the last thing North Carolina or Kentucky needs is to lose their Democratic governor.

Also, I think a ticket with two women on it would be a better answer. Choose Warren or Ocasio-Cortez. There are other options too.

So you want Harris to lose?

I agree, as much as I'd love for that to be the America we live in, it's not.

Beshear just won re-election last year, so he's term limited. His political career in KY is effectively over and with how shit our legislature is, as governor he's essentially powerless anyway. However, I don't think he'll get the nomination- while he's (relatively) popular in KY, he's not gonna turn KY blue for Kamala. I feel that Kelly or Shapiro are better, more strategic options, since getting AZ and PA are far more likely and necessary than trying to win KY.

Roy Cooper is actually at his term limit, so nothing will really be lost. He'll likely be replaced by Josh Stein. I really don't want Mark "Some folks need killing" Robinson to win, who is currently the Lt Governor.

In other news, US Representative Jeff Jackson was recently gerrymandered out of his district and is now running for Josh Stein's current position of Attorney General.

As a Minnesotan, I don't want to lose Governor Walz.

But he is a top-tier pick in my opinion.

That’s understandable. We appreciate your sacrifice for the good of the nation.

Oh there's a GOVERNOR Walz! I was wondering why they wanted to make Christoph Waltz from Inglorious Basterds VP 😁
