Big brain tech dude got yet another clueless take over at HackerNews etc? Here's the place to vent. Orange site, VC foolishness, all welcome.

American Rounds

What, was the Circus of Values brand too expensive to license?

Ammo bandito would've stirred mixed feelings about conservatives' border policy

They’ll be put in schools next.

For fucks sake America.

The bullet machines will be for the campus law enforcement, the tots won't get to use them.

But they will get to try out the tech in cafeterias, so that they'll be more conveniently denied a free lunch.

Myopic of them. We've seen cops respond to school shooters by cowering. The only thing that can stop a bad tot with a gun is a good tot with a gun.

248yrs. Nice, you did the maths.

Nice. You said maths!

I doubt so, since those vending machines require a face scan and ID verification for proof of age. Also those are two things that would make me decline to use such a machine.

They should put them in the duty free part of airports.

Think of the shareholders!

Tenner says we're seeing them in GTA 6 for obvious reasons

I wonder what kind of training it takes to become capable of deciding that the thing your ammunition vending machine project really needs is Artificial Intelligence. Does the NRA have an MBA program?

A fantastic day for capitalism!

I'm sure we'll do this all again soon enough.

It's harder to buy alcohol than use the vending machine. Where I live, I can't buy alcohol at the liquor store before noon on Sunday or on holidays. But I can stock for a school shooting?

Puritan America values strike again.

Just got an acausal message from the future. 2025 will be shocking, we have seen nothing yet. And sadly I don't think we in Europe have it in us to do a D-day to save the USA from the fascists.

Well time to build a large golden statue of a shopkeeper.

I wonder what initial conditions spawned this fractal of bad. This Mandel-rot. This Sier-stink-ski

[–] shalafi 2 points 5 months ago (2 children)

I don't know why anyone would use these. I just got 500 rounds of .45 for $.23/ea. LOL, they're probably $2/ea. in a vending machine.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 5 months ago (1 children)

buddy, I'm not sure you took the right lesson from this

[–] [email protected] 15 points 5 months ago

downvoted for .45
