"what do you mean you can't model your whole site on Posts"
froztbyte
seemingly yet more chatgpt jailbreaks just by providing input that barrierbreaks some n times, and then readily provides details
y'know, if I were the one making safety nets for these systems, I'd make them return such kind of results (or other typical honeypot type behaviour). and it's possible that that's what oai did. but it seems extremely unlikely that that's what they did, because it goes again the bayfucker gottagofast philosophy (and, frankly, against the level of competence I've seen displayed in the genml space overall)
nod
I ran into some fedi post somewhere recently where someone showed some neat all-css hacks (for doing this), and I'm sure I have the tab or bookmark somewhere but .... going to be hard to find atm. and flipside is probably it won't work on the wp modes anyway because wp is of course utterly fucking cursed
I’ve been making use of wpcli for the small constellation of wp sites I have to deal with, primarily because it means I can actually do some semi-reasonable automation against the damn things (update checks, settings blocks, etc etc). Feel free to steal ideas for a script :D
speaking of, with darkreader loading your blog occasionally makes it go a bit wild. I haven't tried to dig into it but you just made me remember about it
if/when it happens again, I'll see if I can profile it to see what's going on
a couple years back I recall seeing some interesting stuff re the nyc subway (link1, link2)
leaving aside how hilariously far they've overrun constructions and estimations (wow nyc is bad at this), it was kinda wild to learn that they didn't even know where trains were during operation. made perfect sense in context with the info, but still wild
I realize that these are going to have been utter fucking idiots to start with, but
no air channeling, no structures heatsinks, wide-open roof that could cause further air movement, mismatched fan sizes, extremely insufficient extractors
-15/10, would watch it burn again
aaaaand then I actually looked at the page. fuck me it's even worse.
"wikipediocracy"? fucking seriously?
for all the good and bad bits that wikipedia has (and there are notably many of the latter too), a rulership is definitely not among that list afaik. wtf.
(e: I'm going purely off the domain name there, but holy shit what a name)
drunk thought: I want to hear Till Lindemann singing this, in the closest manner to Mein Herz Brennt as could be managed, with as much genml bullshit strewn in for serious insanity
followed by the next level of hell: "oh god, what, these are all made of Posts? seriously? what?", and crying in a corner
