They should just all have those foot handles.
Showerthoughts
A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

That's what I was thinking. But also, those bathrooms that have a turn at the entrance so you don't need a door are helpful. Walmart, and other places, often have a bathroom with no door. Not practical for everywhere.
The foot handles are great, but they sick if you have nice shoes. Even padded ones - which are rare - can easily rub through and you can find yourself with a ruined pair of nice shoes.
My office does have that, but it's on the inside. I just open the door with a paper towel, prop it with my foot briefly, and toss it in the can.
The only fixture behind a door should be the toilet bowl. The sink and paper towel dispenser should actually be outside of the bathroom so everyone can see if you wash your hands or not.
I just kobe it to the one on the inside
Half the time it has a lid on it so I can't even attempt that with my terrible aim.
Once the “miss” pile gets big and/or frequent enough, they’ll figure it out…or not…
Yeah lol if I tried that they'd wind up on the floor every time 🗑️⛹️
Petition to remove door handles from public restrooms
Door knobs only from now on!
Most of the restrooms I’ve been to have a bin inside but close to the door, so you can grab the handle with a paper towel then throw it in before stepping out. But yeah, the ones without doors and only have partitions to hide the restroom from the outside is the best, like the ones in airports.
I have seen this often and most of the others the can is within easy toss distance of the door (holding door open with foot)
Whoever loaded the paper towels into the dispenser at some point had their dirty bare hands all over the roll, possibly after having just cleaned the toilets, so why not just get rid of the door altogether?
Get rid of the toilets too while you're at it! People urinating and defecating in a public space can't be sanitary! Do they even have someone to come in and fully clean and sanitize every surface after each person goes in there???
