That was supposed to be the joke of the question, but I don't think it landed lol. It's just so absurd, on the one hand you've got Iron Mike, one of the best to ever do it, and the other you've got well Jake Paul.
I'm rooting for the day nobody cares about this type of thing.
Hope Tyson takes a bite out of that attention whore but Iβm not watching as it just a sad stunt imo
I mean, they're both kinda douches, or have been in the past. So I don't really care about the success of either.
That being said, Mike Tyson is one of the greats inside the ring. That's the draw, to see him do his thing, even if it's more pf an exhibition fight than a serious bout.
I predict Mike will knock him the fuck out, barring some kind of fuckery. There's footage of him working out in the past few years, and he's still fast enough, and there's no doubt in my mind he's improved his skill up make up for any aging.
Honestly, if Tyson somehow loses, then you know the fight was rigged. There is no way Paul could beat Tyson, even as old as Tyson is.
I'm convinced it's rigged no matter who wins. The only thing that could convince me otherwise is Tyson adding another ear to his collection....
Personally, I am rooting for the stage to win the match. Fuck this PR stunt.
Praying that Tyson floors him, but itβs a performance, not a fight.
β¦Unless Tyson has an oopsie.

Like, the YouTuber?
It's hard to root for anyone in boxing because boxing isn't a team sport in the same way as, say, an NFL game played by the Buffalo Bills. Based on the little I know about them both, I'm rooting for Mike.
Why does being a team sport or not affect whether you can root for them?
Not OP, but I kinda agree with them.
Teams are abstract, it's easier to project your own ideals on to them. Not completely unlike respecting the office, even if loathing the politician currently holding it. It becomes "our thing".
Also teams have longevity, or at least potential for longevity. Where I live, the two major local ice-hockey teams are founded in 1928 and 1967. There are families with generations of fans. Athlete's career could be over in a decade.
How could anyone root against the goat?
Well obviously for the goat
