Is there a joke I'm not getting?

This is justpost. Not shitposting, not goodposting. Just, you know, posting.

Ironic that fence has no posts.

Sometimes a guy just wants to ~~dig a hole~~ build a wall.

[–] Noodle07 3 points 6 months ago

Did the Mexicans pay for that one?

[–] foofiepie 7 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I had this thought. I think it’s because they’ve used mortar/cement when these are supposed to be drystone walls, and whatever the hell that concrete monstrosity is.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 6 months ago

A mortared cap is not unacceptable in drystone formations.

I bet the concrete was bought as pieces and just used as a "block"

A crew would have done a shit copy and paste job, this wall is a piece of art.

Nice wall bro

All the people being like "nice wall bro", not realizing you pointed out its not your wall lol

I'm thinking of changing the post title to make it more obvious. Don't want to feel like I'm taking credit for someone else's project. I just thought it was a nice wall!

Well now I feel betrayed. Dishonor! Dishonor on you, dishonor on your wall!

[–] The_Picard_Maneuver 9 points 6 months ago

I'm sorry! I've never built a wall. I'm a wall-less failure!

[–] Noodle07 2 points 2 months ago

No! Nice wall bro!

[–] Madison420 2 points 6 months ago

Also not that nice of a wall, it doesn't really fit the style of this multi million dollar farm house.

Read? You expect them to ReEAAaDd?

I once replied to a comment about the first half of a one sentence post body. They didn't read the second half of the sentence. Comically they replied with it being due to lack of sleep. Love this community.

Good job man, the satisfaction from building something that's not exactly trivial yourself is immense imo

[–] Etterra 9 points 6 months ago

I'll bet a crew wouldn't have included those awesome buttresses.

Your girlfriend doesn't understand walls, and probably doesn't understand men.

[–] TheHottub 5 points 6 months ago

Dude, now you just need a moat and drawbridge. That wall is thick. Nice job. Looks like it would stop a car.

[–] johsny 4 points 6 months ago

Wow, well done! Must have been a hell of a job!

[–] joe_archer 3 points 6 months ago

Nice work. York stone as well. West Yorkshire?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 6 months ago

And what will your girlfriend say when your wall is keeping the Mongols at bay?

[–] Girru00 2 points 6 months ago

My back hurts looking at it. Looks great, and good work on the heavy lifting.

Don't let Ubisoft know or you're done.
