Just wanted to share a little success, after some wrangling I've finally got an M600 macro working on Klipper. I've been trying to print some ornaments for my holiday tree (a Christmas tree that I'm never taking down). These turned out pretty great!

(Ignore the wago connectors, they're "temporary")

ETA:

I used all Voxel PLA and found the model on printables. Sliced with Prusaslicer and just added the color changes at the appropriate layers.

Great hats. I always get my tiny hats from Tiny Hats. They're now open on Sundays.

Lol, if years of being a software developer and a maker have taught me anything it's that there's nothing more permanent than a temporary solution. Bask in the glory of your temporary wago connectors.

Also, neat hats! Manual filament changes or are you rocking an ams?

They're manual changes. Annoying, but they work for basic stuff.

Nice! It took me entirely too long to realize I could change filament manually to do pretty colors. Hard agree on it being super annoying, but it's a neat trick to have in your arsenal.

How many layers of green did you use?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

It's 0.2 layer height, I wanna say it was 3 layers, but it could have been 4. The green I'm using is opaque at even one layer with these settings though
