They just need to own it. Your truck will form a natural patina over time.
Weirdly I think they would look better rusted. But I'm sure the people that actually paid real money for them would disagree.
It is 301 stainless they're using... basically the least expensive kind out there. The difference between it and regular mild (carbon) steel isn't much. Any sort of ferrous dust will just chew it up.
I just think about these sitting in used car dealerships in 3-5 years covered in rust with no battery range selling for $10k or less.
Anyone who owns one of these is a massive idiot.
Sounds like after market weather protection is going to be a must for Cyber trucks.
