I'm confused. Last thing I remember is that Germany is supporting Israel or at least not recognising the genocide?

They also cut the payment to UNRWA and continue to keep it cut based on the allegations Israel brought forth a day after the ICJ ruled measures Israel needs to abide by, in aprticular improving the access of humanitarian aid.

The news here is a measly 8 million € that are far from being enough to alleviate the immediate catastrophe. For reference Germany has so far commited about a 130 million to humanitarian aid in Gaza since Oct. 7, but more than 300 million in weapons to Israel.

To be clear the 300million are sold to Israel and are unlike the aid to Gaza not a gift.

A lot of it is actually gifted. Germany has paid 35 milion in 2023 according to the budget plan and currently 530 million are pledged as military aid to Israel.

There is no contradiction in anything you just said. To defend agains Hamas is a necessity. To try and help humans in pain as well.

Feels good man. I hope we continue to increase humanitarian help.

LMAO at all the people in here that think the claims against UNRWA are only weeks old. They are fishy for at least a year prior to the attacks.

We can trust everything that Israel says. They have never lied about anything.

while i have to agree to the sarcasm, as this conflict is built on lies, deceipt and propaganda for over 40 years, the claims against the UNRWA have not been solely made by Israel alone.
But i most definitely have to stop discussing about this whole topic, as i have posted some very wrong things yesterday and was very non-civil in my arguments to say the least.
i apologize for the comment above, as it's missing the entire context that i didn't provide with it.

Image management from the guys who proclaimed "unwavering support for Israel" the day the death toll for Palestinian children crossed 4000, criticized the bringing of a case against Israel for Genocide to the ICJ, immediatelly stopped contributions to the UNWRA following unconfirmed and unchecked allegations from Israel against less than 1% of its people in Gaza and who continue to provide military and financial help to Israel.

Racist "genocide is fine if done by the right people against 'human animals'" Nazi-lovers, now trying to use modern Marketing and PR techniques to manage their image whilst they "unwaveringly" support mass murder.

Evil hypocrite racists.

Germans are on the wrong side of history yet again.
