Oh man there used to be a subreddit for this where it's like a random picture with associated text that's probably bullshit. Damn, I can't remember the name of it. It wasn't thathappened, it was something else.

Anyway I don't believe the text. I think it's just a picture of a dude and his kitty, which is fine. Probably either way it is a dude and his kitty.

I dunno, there’s a decent chance this is real. My aunt’s cat basically lived in the whole neighborhood. I remember one day while we were out on a walk and happened to look in one of the neighbor’s windows, and there he was, hanging out on the couch with the neighbor watching TV.

When she moved out everyone came to say goodbye to her cat lol

I legitimately had something like this happen in the past. Staying at my grandparents house, neighbours cat wandered in through an open window during the night and into the room I was staying in. I put him out since he didn’t live there. He came back in, bit me, and then cuddled with me all night.

You learned your place in the hierarchy.

It works because that is a cat thing to do. It doesn't matter if it is real, what matters is that it inspires joy.

If we leave the doors open, neighborhood cats come into our house and set up shop.

I left my window open for 5 minutes and a random cat showed up as if asking "Dafuq u doin' ovah he'e?"

There are some cats that will be both friendly and try to get in your house. Last place I lived I was the third roommate and one of them had a dog. I went outside to meet someone who warned me she was petting a very friendly cat outside. As soon as I opened the door it beelined for the door. I apologetically closed it, a d it decided ro get pets from me instead. Wish I could have helped it, but my roommates later told me it's a neighborhood cat and gets lots of food etc from peopl3.
