I used to be able to name them all back when there was only 150 of the lil fuckers.
I miss those simpler times. Just the whisper of the possibility of 151 was so powerful. Nowadays every five minutes they're finding random inanimate objects, drawing faces on them, and adding them to the list.
I kinda stopped caring pretty early on when they introduced 26 of 'em that were literally just letters.
In fairness they aren't 26 separate pokemon, Unown can just be in one of the 26 shapes.
I feel the same way. There's just too many and there's too much work to swap around pokemon for counters and strengths/weaknesses etc. I liked the old days where you were able to select like six or so pokemon to be your buddies and rock through the entire adventure together.
The ever expanding list of Pokemans is going to be the millennial boomer humor, isn't it?
I mean, one of the legendaries is basically a starter that you ride like a motorcycle. It's too easy to make fun of.
Don't forget the pinnacle of Pokemon: a sentient pair of keys
Also literally a sword
The key ring and the trash bag were the final straw for me
The Pokemon rap helped make it easier though.
Where's the current PokeRap with all checks notes 1,025 Pokemon?
It probably lasts 10 hours.
Brian David Gilbert did 812, albeit with audience participation.
You're doing Mew dirty...
