User @peace is a user added today, created and is listed as mod on an enormous list of sites with nothing on them, all are names of subreddits. What is going on, and is this allowed? If not how do I report them?

They might be trying to recreate communities they use

Honestly, I see your point but i don't think we should encourage people to even try to make or moderate that many communities. There's a user that I mentioned above who has created around 300 communities at this point. A human can't actually handle all that, even if they do have good intentions

Yeah the best case scenario I can think of is they are creating these communities so people can post there and more moderators can be found once things take off.

It's a weird almost brute force way of going about it especially considering the federated nature of Lemmy and how that could lead to multiple instances having essentially the same community.

I'm hoping it's not a malicious action to keep some broad position of power.
