I assumed there would be plenty of them but I didn't see any. I may have missed something because I'm so used to Jerboa now I'm struggling with the web app.

So basically, it looks like lemmy.world users can't use jerboa to log in until the instance us updated to v.0.18. Am I right? Does anybody else find themselves unable to login?

Thanks!

What eludes me is that I'm seing contradictory reports about the older github versions, like 0.34. Some claim they still work, but I'm having crashes on startup using them, whether I'm trying 0.34, 0.33 or 0.32.

Hmm I was a bit behind and was still on Jerboa v0.33 before I updated today since I get my apk straight from github. But that one worked fine.

It could be that the instances that have issues with older Jerboa versions are already running the Lemmy v0.18 backend. Personally I did not experience any issues just browsing and commenting on lemmy.ml communities which is running v0.18 but that was from my lemmy.world account (thus using the lemmy.world v0.17.4 backend).

This instance will be migrated to v0.18 as soon as possible once it's out.
