Question: How to handle post TRUMP 2, US info and posts?

Recenlty, Trump has become more and more agressive to certain media outlets, like AP for example. Today, I heard Washington Post isn't going to publish any of Trump's or his administration critical op-ed articles anymore.

In the link I included one of the many articles( The Hill) surrounding this issue.

It's said that media like AP, Reuters and Forbes remain" neutral ". But the US sensationalism or headlines are influencing worldnews headlines. I felt the time was right to have like a discussion about this.

I also understand that pro-democratic US outlets need sometimes to be equally extreme to counter Trump's BS . Then again both opinions become more and more polarised . Not meant as a judgement, just opening a discussion for views and input.

I would guess if you want direct contact with mods of such communities, i recommend you the lemmy.world moderation discord. I can send you a invite over dm.

Its ok you made it here, but i personally would have done it in a news community ( in cooperation with the mods ) a pinned post about their experience or thoughts on this process.

Because there will be less interaction here as this community is used when something broke, needs help ( related to Lemmy.world ).

You would have a lot more interaction speaking directly to users of such communities that are focused on news.

Thanks for your kind response and advice. I will see how things develop and eventually contact mods.
