100% of what voters want no longer matters. Trump is our king and dictator now. This country has handed over the senate, the presidency, and possibly even the popular vote to him. America has said, full heartedly "Yes Mr Trump, we want your particular brand of bullshit. We love it. You make the rules, and we'll lick your butthole!"
This is the world we live in.
So when these 78% of people who support Bidens policys don't get what they claim to support, I want you all to remember. You played the election like a sports league. You supported your team. You discarded all of the problems with the teams players. You just put on that red hat, with white text, and said "GO SPORTS!!!"
This is the result. You did this America. You did this.
They don't even understand. These are the same people that love the Affordable Care Act but hate Obamacare.
I'm going to remind the Trump supporters I know every fucking day that they voted for this when it hurts then
Every family gathering with my conservative relatives starting on 1/20, I'm going to complain about prices and ask why Trump hasn't brought them down yet like he said he would on day 1.
Any time gas prices go up, I'll be sure to point it out. Airplane tickets, same thing. Any item that fluctuates in price, I'll be sure to let them know it's clearly Trump's fault it's gotten more expensive. It must be his policies.
When they inevitably bend over backwards to try to explain that it's more complicated than that, I'm going to remind them just how often they complained about Biden being singlehandedly responsible as President for high prices and how easily they said he could bring them down if he just "changed his policies."
I'm sure they'll see no issue with their past positions, but it'll be cathartic for me nonetheless having to listen to them for the last 4 years.
It's deeply satisfying to cut them out of your life entirely, if that's an option for you. I have no regrets.
A conservative will not become more intelligent or less conservative, no matter what you show them.
I have a lot more time on hplidays without all that bothersome family bullshit now!
Holding Trump supporters accountable for their actions is the only way forward. There are no more excuses. Every bad thing to happen now moving forwards is 100% on Trump supporters AND complacent bystanders who chose not to take a stand. It was plain for everyone to see. Repudiate fascism and the toxicity plaguing the country at every opportunity.
Yes, collectively, people need to stop coddling assholes in general, and Republicans very specifically. If they find it "mean" or they bitch about the tone, tell them where they can stick THAT kind of talk after they voted for donnie and chant stuff like "lock her up" and "fuck your feelings".
Please do. Every normal American needs to remind the dipshits in their lives what THEY voted for when they are bitching about the outcomes.
They think diaper donnie has a magic wand that will give them cheap groceries, gas prices like it was 1950, and add an inch or two to their dick (or their SO's dick if they are a straight woman).
I'll be here to remind them, you can be sure of that.
The problem is, there might be some (very destructive) things that someone with total power could do to lower prices in the short term, so people think it's real... Before the long term consequences of those things come around. But by that point they will have at least one scapegoat to pin it on.
Yup. America is a ridiculously stupid country.
Is there even any question he wins the popular vote? Incidentally, it's worth noting that Trump is likely to end up with roughly the same amount of votes as he did against Biden in 2020. It's just that Harris will end up with like 12 million less than Biden got.
