While vote to topple his government has failed, it signals a new series of tests for the prime minister.

Fucking garbage article and headline.

Here's one for you: "Poilievre's non-confidence motion falls flat in parliament."

Or perhaps...

"Conservatives fail to force favourable election schedule."

Or maybe something simple:

"Christofascist takeover bid fails."

I'm not a big fan of Trudeau - ESPECIALLY since he fucking reneged on electoral reform - but compared to the fuckwits in the CPC, I'll hold my nose and support him.

(In reality, I'm in such a tory-blue riding that I'll probably vote Green, because my MP will still get 70% of the popular vote).

Yeah media outlets need to start saying "Conservatives bring up this week's false outrage, moral panic and pearl clutching"

Have you paid any attention the Green party lately? They're a total mess.

Fucking garbage article and headline.

You got me to read the thing, just to see what could possibly be so offensive about it. It's a pretty good summary of the situation for an audience that might not be too familiar with Canadian politics. Don't blame the messenger.
