Because the Liberals, the CPC, and its openly racist little brother the PPC, are all right-wing parties.
Now granted, the CPC is hard-right and the PPC is full-blown alt-right, but yes -- the Liberals are right-lite. Almost none of their elected members are even centrists, much less left of centre.
You want a leftist party that actually cares about the common man? Try the NDP, both provincial and federal.
