I know it's tragically pedestrian; and I know there's supposed to be a 4 in 2025; and I also know there's many a slip twixt cup and lip, and the gaming industry is going through some pretty radical changes... but all I really want is another Borderlands.

There's not much they can do with it, not many places to go, and I'm sure everyone who's worked on the series over the years is thoroughly sick of it. But, damn. Every one of the main games (at least; I haven't loved every in-between spin-off) has his a sweet spot of mindless fun, funniness, and replay-ability. I've played 3 so many times through, and spent so many hours just running around in every location, even I can't work up much enthusiasm to fire it up anymore.

There's an occasional game that fills the same niche; Bullet Storm was pretty fun, but with low replay-ability. I just want a game where I can turn off the higher brain functions and run around killing stuff in interesting ways.

Thanks for attending my Ted Talk.

Being the most favorable game market does not mean "there is no competition". It's just the competition is doing it wrong so everyone flocks to what they like or have stuck with.

I'm searching for a cooking game or restaurant management game on PC that meets the following criteria:

Allows me to choose the type of cuisine to cook Enables upgrading workstations for improvement, rather than just purchasing multiples Includes decorating features Offers a cooking experience similar to Order UP!, Cooking Mama, or simple click-based mechanics like Diner Dash or Cooking Dash (found in most mobile cooking games) I've already tried the following games, but they didn't quite meet my expectations:

TasteMaker (5/10) Tavern Master (7/10) Chef Life (3/10) Cooking Simulator (1/10) Overcooked (0/10) Plate Up (0/10) Rolling Hills (0/10) Chef (0/10) Food Truck Simulator (2/10) Good Pizza, Great Pizza 0/10 Cook, Serve, Delicious! 0/10 If anyone has suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate them!

This might be too close to "advertising", so remove if you like. I get 0 money or anything. Just wanted to reach out to those who may not know this exists.

If you happen to live in the Buffalo, NY area, the next Massive LAN event is coming up real soon and there are still plenty of seats available. Massive LAN is held in Winter and Summer, so you can always join another time. Basically, you get your own table, power strip, and an Ethernet drop. Just bring yourself, computer, chair, and whatever sleeping gear you may need. Family friendly (enough) to bring any kiddos who like to game as well.

There is plenty of room to walk around and hang about in, so don't worry too much about being overwhelmed by a crowded space. If you do end up getting tickets and want to be grouped with other specific people, just put the same guild name as them on the form.

All I think when I see her is hipster and Starbucks. I'm not saying she's bad, but what pops up in my head. Am I the only one who thinks this?
