A Joyful Noise Unto The Creator is the second album by United Kingdom acid jazz group Galliano. It was released on Gilles Peterson's Talkin' Loud record label on 8 June 1992

THE best K-Ci & JoJo song there is! This is one of my go-to songs when we sing karaoke.

“Respiration” is the second single from Black Star’s eponymously titled 1998 debut album. It features a guest verse from Common and guitar playing by DeChown Jenkins. The song is produced by Hi-Tek and samples “Theme from the Fox” by Don Randi.

Black Star, with a feature from Common, poetically describe the hard-knock life in New York, with the “Gangstas of Gotham”, and the oppressive “smog” of the city, which obscures the idea of purity.

“Just Another Day” was the 2nd single from Queen Latifah’s debut album Black Reign on Motown Records in 1993. The song interpolates samples from Herb Alpert’s “Making Love In The Rain” and Slick Rick’s “Hey Young World” as well as incorporating a displaced sample of Latifah’s young voice on her single 1988 “Princess of the Posse” rapping “in the place that I live.”

Teddy Riley was called in to produce remixes of the track for the single’s release.

This song got tons of airplay on in the PDX area (KNRK) back in the day, and now I mention it to people and they seem to not remember it at all.
